Copy melodies, climb scales and keep a repeating rhythm going.
Assemble marimbas and mallets, then make the light wooden frame your own.
Choose your prices, welcome teacher customers and grow your collection.
Trade short tunes with your teacher. Play your own melody for them to copy, or try the teacher’s challenge and repeat the notes in order.
The teacher-copying-your-tune activity and listening to a replay do not themselves award the challenge reward. A reward appears after the account confirms your correct attempt.

Listening, note order, pitch recognition and remembering a melody without rushing.
Play up the marimba, then back down. Each correct note moves you along the trail. Your selected instrument determines the available notes.
| Difficulty | Bomb letters | RP |
|---|---|---|
| Beginner | 0 | 50 |
| Easy | 1 | 200 |
| Medium | 2 | 300 |
| Hard | 4 | 1,000 |
Each difficulty has its own three-minute reward cooldown. You can practise during a cooldown; another reward waits until that difficulty is eligible again.

Ascending and descending notes, selective attention and confidence across the instrument.
Follow a repeating C–A–A–F–A–A–C pattern. The closing C starts the next roll. Your teacher demonstrates before you take over.
The game confirms level rewards after checking your attempt. Faster eligible performances may receive a speed bonus. Fractional RP carries forward rather than being discarded.
Play the pattern yourself. Automatic Rumble playback is a separate Studio effect and does not complete this challenge.

Repeated patterns, even hand timing and staying focused over a longer sequence.
Start with an Alto, then unlock Tenor, Bass and matching mallet pairs. Buy licences and choose what to build from the same illustrated list.
The Basic drill costs 15,000 RP once and needs six seconds per screw. Premium costs 50,000 RP once and needs two. The free hammer can finish the lesson.
The spray can costs 1,000 RP once. Colour the whole light wooden front or back, draw freely, generate patterns, choose a font, position text and use undo/redo. Rotate the station to work from different angles. Decoration is optional.
First-ever marimba materials are free; later marimbas cost 500 RP to start. Mallet pairs cost 100 RP in materials. Storage starts with five slots; upgrade it as your collection grows.

Load a finished instrument from Storage to decorate it again. Your frame art travels with it into your shop.
Open Marimba Shop beside Storage. Put completed instruments on podiums and matching mallet pairs on their dedicated shelf bays.
You start with one free podium and three matching mallet shelf bays. Purchase more podiums from the display dropdown, up to ten. The second costs 1,000 RP; later displays increase in price.
At 1 RP, buying chance is 100%. At half the maximum price it is about 29%; at the maximum it is 5%. Marketing increases visitor frequency, so it creates more sale opportunities without changing these odds.
An open shop with no available stock still receives visitors: teachers tell you they will return another time. During Prof Rumble’s active shop lesson, he explains displaying, pricing, opening and checkout.

Start at one visitor every 30 seconds. Buy the next tier once to unlock 25, 20, 15, 10 and finally 5 seconds. Choose any speed you own.
| Interval | One-time tier cost |
|---|---|
| 25 seconds | 1,000 RP |
| 20 seconds | 3,000 RP |
| 15 seconds | 8,000 RP |
| 10 seconds | 20,000 RP |
| 5 seconds | 50,000 RP |
Crafting licences are permanent purchases. The sale limit belongs to the item type; you choose a lower price whenever you want a better buying chance.

Workshop licences, tools, materials, storage, displays and marketing use their shown RP prices. Game access and permanent purchases are separate. RP rewards and purchases are confirmed against your account.
December 2026 game access is a scheduled promotion for signed-in accounts. It does not grant a paid subscription or free crafting purchases.
Sign in to the Studio on a computer or supported tablet, open Virtual Marimba 3D and choose Games from the teacher menu. The Shop opens from inside the Workshop.
CopyCat is available with a signed-in Free account. Mountain, Rumble Roll and Workshop require Basic, Premium or Ultimate. The scheduled December 2026 promotion opens these games to signed-in accounts during December; paid tools, crafting licences and materials still use RP.
No. The 10,000 RP Workshop entry permanently unlocks Alto crafting on your account. Tenor, Bass and each mallet recipe have their own one-time licences. Licences do not replace the active subscription access requirement outside the game promotion.
Your first-ever marimba build has no material charge. Each later marimba costs 500 RP to start. A mallet pair costs 100 RP in materials. Continuing an existing build costs nothing extra.
Click Prof Rumble in the Workshop and accept the lesson prompt. Starting the lesson automatically starts or resumes an Alto build. Click him again for the Stop lesson control. Your saved build is preserved.
No. With a drill selected, hold anywhere on the placed piece. Basic needs six continuous seconds per screw; Premium needs two. Releasing early restarts that screw’s hold. The fixing counter shows how many are secured.
No. Fit the highlighted bars in order, then add the note letters. These are placement steps, without drilling or hammering.
Yes. Purchase the spray can once for 1,000 RP. Use Load & decorate in Storage, draw on the light wooden front and back frame, add patterns and text, and save to the same inventory slot. Remove listed stock from its display before editing; reserved stock cannot be edited.
Each customer makes a new price-based buying decision. At 1 RP the chance is 100%; at the item’s maximum it is 5%. Halfway to the maximum is about 29%. More visitors create more opportunities without changing the chance per visitor.
No. Once a customer accepts an item, it is reserved for them. Other customers cannot purchase it. Checkout removes that item and credits the agreed RP once.
New customers enter only while the shop is open. A customer already inside can finish their visit and an accepted purchase can complete.
No. Marketing tiers are permanent, one-time RP purchases. Buy the next tier to unlock a faster visitor interval, then manually choose any speed you own. Closing and reopening does not create an extra instant buying chance.
Manual-hit rewards are saved in small account-verified batches. Game rewards wait for the completed attempt to be confirmed. Shop RP is credited at checkout. Keep your connection available and use Retry when the game offers it.
No. Automatic playback and repeated Rumble strokes are separate from your own manual notes. Basic, Premium and Ultimate award eligible manual hits at 1, 3 and 5 RP respectively, subject to account verification.
The 3D game experience is designed for desktop, iPad and Android tablets. The standard mobile Studio keeps its separate playing experience. A computer keyboard, MIDI controller or on-screen marimba can be used where supported.
They are separate teacher activities. Music Book teaches songs and grades full-song attempts; Performance lets your teacher present a concert. See the Virtual Marimba 3D page for their access and controls.
